Specialties, Inc. (Precision) takes great pride in its management team.
Chief Executive Officer, Colleen Curran, Esq. leads the team of
dedicated professionals, many of whom were promoted to management after
displaying leadership qualities. Below is a short bio on each manager
and information on how to contact them at the office. |

Colleen
Curran-Chief Executive Officer / General Counsel
Colleen Curran joined Precision Orthopaedic Specialties, Inc. in May of
2005 as the Chief Executive Officer / General Counsel. Colleen manages
and directs the daily operations of Precision and establishes and
implements organizational goals. She also serves as the in-house legal
counsel for Precision.
Colleen attended Bowling Green State University and earned her Bachelor
of Arts degree in psychology. She obtained her Juris Doctor from
Cleveland-Marshall College of Law cum laude and was admitted to the Ohio
State Bar in 1997.
Colleen has 10 years of experience in the areas of healthcare, labor and
employment law. She practices in the United States District Court,
Northern District of Ohio as well as in various State/County Courts
throughout Ohio. Colleen is an Arbitrator for the Lake County Common
Pleas Court and she serves on the Newbury Township Board of Zoning
Appeals. She is also a lecturer for the Sterling & Ohio Board of
Building Standards. Colleen is a member of the Ohio State Bar
Association and serves as the Chairperson of the Medical-Legal Committee
of the Geauga County Bar Association.

Sharon
Miller-Internal Services Manager
Sharon joined Precision in 2005 as the Internal Services manger. She is
responsible for many of the internal, behind the scenes processes of
Precision including human resources/benefits administration, overseeing
the communications systems, office machines and the building
upkeep/maintenance. However, Sharon’s most important responsibility at
Precision is her position as the assistant to Colleen
Curran, Precision’s Chief Executive Officer/ General Counsel.

Deborah Pawlak-Physical
Therapy Manager
Deborah has been a physical therapist for Precision since August 2004.
She was promoted to physical therapy manager in the fall of 2006. Debbie
is a working manager who finds evaluating and treating patients very
rewarding. She manages Precision’s two therapy departments located in
our Chardon and East Washington Street offices. Her duties include
staffing, coordinating the therapy programs prescribed by the physicians
and ensuring all therapists are implementing the prescribed programs,
communicating any changes in protocol to therapy staff and addressing
the needs of patients, physicians and therapy staff.

Christopher Herald-Clinical
Manager.
Chris was originally hired in 1993 by Precision as
Newbury High School’s athletic trainer. He was promoted to head athletic
trainer in 1996. In 2000 he became Chardon High School’s athletic
trainer where he coordinates a student athletic training program for
students interested in a career in health care. Chris coordinates
athletic trainer coverage for five local high schools and clinical
coverage of Geauga Sports Medicine. In 2005, Chris was promoted to
Clinical Manager of Precision. He applies most of the custom splints and
casts to our patients that are prescribed by our physicians. Chris
enjoys teaching the staff proper techniques and helping to sharpen their
skills of general physical exam, splinting and casting skills. He also
enjoys working with patients to reinforce their confidence in choosing
Precision as their orthopaedic provider.

Linda Herald-Durable
Medical Equipment Manager(“DME”)
Linda has been a Precision employee since July of 1999. She initially
was hired as Cardinal High School’s and Newbury High School’s athletic
trainer and to work clinic hours with the physicians. In 2001 she
accepted a promotion as Manager of Durable Medical Equipment for the
practice. Linda went through an intense class at The Palmer Institute of
Biomechanics to become a Certified Pedorthist in 2006. Her duties
include:
managing DME inventory @ 5 offices, billing and insurance correspondence
for all DME, research and staying up-to-date on latest products and
communicating them to the physicians. Linda states her most important
responsibility is fitting patients with the physician prescribed
orthoses/braces. She gets the most enjoyment working closely with
athletes and patients. Through bracing, she is helping them regain
normal function of their injury, thus, improving the quality of their
life.

Donna Gregorich-Front
Desk Receptionist Manager
Donna joined Precision as a receptionist in September of 2006. She
excelled in that position and when the opportunity arose she applied for
a manager’s position and was promoted to Front Desk Receptionist Manager
in February of 2007. Her duties are many and include: clerical staff
scheduling, maintaining the physician’s clinic schedule, coordinating
physician and staff schedules at our satellite offices, transport of
medical records and communicating office procedure and changes to her
staff. She was voted to receive the honor of the Professionalism Award
for 2006 at our annual Christmas Party. It is one of three awards
presented to outstanding employees.

Christopher Soworowski-
Ridgepark Office Manager
Chris was hired in August 2003 as the athletic trainer for Brooklyn High
School and to work in clinic assisting the physicians with patient care.
He was promoted to the office manager of our Ridgepark office in the
fall of 2006. While helping with patient care and overseeing the day to
day operations of the office, he continues his duties as the Athletic
Trainer at Brooklyn High School. Chris enjoys working with the student
athletes at the high school.

Mary Ann Hayden-Administration.
Mary Ann has been employed at Precision since February of 1994, first,
as Disablilty/Workers’ Compensation specialist then in the medical
billing department and finally promoted to an administrative position
with duties that include: accounts payable, bookkeeping and purchasing.
Mary Ann was the recipient of the Professionalism Award for 2005. It is
one of three Achievement Awards presented to exceptional employees.

Rita Venesky-Billing
Manager
Rita joined Precision as a part-time receptionist in 1994.
After a short time, she was asked to increase her hours to full-time.
Within a year she was promoted to Front Desk Manager. In 1998, Rita had
the opportunity to work in
the Billing Department. Though she would be giving up a management
position she saw the move as an opportunity to learn new skills. She
readily accepted the move. Because of her experience and hard work Rita
was promoted to Billing Manager in August of 2002. Rita touts her
billing staff saying they are “top notch” and she enjoys working with
our “well respected” team of physicians. Rita oversees all billing
issues.
