Gregory C. Sarkisian, D.O. is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon
specializing in the surgical management of orthopaedic conditions and
sports related injuries with an emphasis on arthroscopic joint surgery,
total joint replacements, fracture care and general orthopaedics. A
partner of Precision Orthopaedics, Dr. Sarksians’ extensive knowledge
and experience compliment the specialists in the practice.
Dr, Sarkisian received his Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry and biology
from Bowling Green State University. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic
Medicine degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine
where he served as president of the Sports Medicine Club. He served as
Chief Resident of Orthopaedic Surgery during his training at Meridia
South Point Hospital. Dr. Sarkisian ranked second in the nation on his
orthopaedic surgery board exam. Always eager to provide patients the
best in the latest surgical techniques, Dr. Sarkisian has been trained
in minimally invasive surgery including total hip and knee replacements
and minimally invasive arthroscopic shoulder and knee procedures.
He is a member of many medical societies including the Geauga Medical
Society, the Ohio Osteopathic Association and the American Osteopathic
Board of Osteopathic Surgery. Dr. Sarkisian has lectured to fellow
physicians throughout the county and has written articles for
orthopaedic medical journals. He is Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at
University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center and in the past has served as
Vice President of the Medical Staff of that facility.
Active both professionally and personally in the community Dr. Sarkisian
has volunteered his time as a football and basketball coach for youth
programs for many years. He also volunteers as team physician for area
high school sports teams.
